I have set up interviews with people from a number of different circumstances during the pandemic including key workers, students, mothers and more. Due to the boundaries of the the social distancing rules these interviews will take place over phone call, video chat and at a 6 meter distance they will be audio recorded and transcribed by me.

How has the coronavirus impacted your day to day experiences?
How have you felt emotionally during the coronavirus pandemic?
What is your opinion on the government’s response to the pandemic?
What is your opinion on the public’s response to pandemic?
I will also be asking relevant questions the interviewees role during the pandemic, for example:
Grocery workers:
How have you dealt with implementing social distancing rules in the store?
Have you faced abuse from customers during the pandemic?
How have you dealt with the increase for demand and stockpiling issues?
Working from home:
How have adjusted to working from home?
Are you worried about the possibility of furlough/ or if you are furloughed are you concerned about your wages?
How do you juggle family responsibilities, self-care and working from home?
Care homes:
How are you handling social distancing in the care homes?
How do you feel about the government’s response and offered assistance to care homes when the virus primarily effects older people?
How are you handling keeping up your own and your residents’ spirits during a time when they can’t see their family?
Students:
Did you decide to move home or stay in student housing and why?
How do you feel about the response and help for university students during the pandemic?
How do you feel about your prospects for the future as a soon to be graduate during a global pandemic?
