ISO Task
- Set your camera to Manual
- Set your aperture to a middle F stop (about F8 will do)
- Set shutter speed to 125
Task – take photographs of the same subject with different ISO levels Indoors & Outdoors –
Task – Create a slieshow of the images for Indoor & Outdoor ISO and for the shutter speed photos.
ISO – Indoors
The slideshow shows 4 photos each of the ISO settings in order:
- 200
- 400
- 800
- 1600
I first took the ISO 200 photos, but the lighting was dark because of the lower ISO so I also took some photo with the flash on to be able to see the movement. I then took photos in 400, 800 and 1600 ISO.
ISO – Outdoors
The slideshow shows 4 photos each of the ISO settings in order:
- 200
- 400
- 800
- 1600
The higher the ISO the more light is let in, therefore with these photographs being taken on an especially sunny day the higher the ISO the photos were especially bright and it was harder to see the movement.
Shutter Speed Task
Task – Take a photo of a friend mid-jump with minimal blur. You’ll need a fast shutter speed. If you’d rather, you can shoot some action shots in the street.
I took images with different shutter speeds to test out how to get the least amount of blur. the higher the shutter speed 1/1000, 1/800 had the least amount of blur and the jump was clear whereas shutter speed at 1/20 1/10 created the most amount of blur and the jump was unclear.
[Due to cornoavirus I had to return home where I live in a isolated area therefore was unfortunately unable to get an image with someone in front of a busy street background]
